Still here!

This poor blog is the one thing that gets neglected when I'm buried in orders! First Seacoast Panda, then Yarn Pirate Superwash, then Duets (still a few left!). Today all the rest of the Louet colors arrive and did you see? My ad is attached to the cover of the sock on the Spring Knitty!

Yesterday I got the new boxes for the sockblockers - and they are amazing - they have flexible heights so they work perfectly. My husband and I were hysterical laughing when we were packing up a pair of blockers. We were both so excited by how great the boxes were - that's what our lives have become - excited over cardboard!

Ok - so I must speak about Anna Nicole Smith. Or more accurately, her mother - last night I saw her shovelling dirt into her daughter's grave as if she were digging a vegetable garden. I have never seen anything more disrespectful - never!never!never! Ok - that's it - that's all I have to say about that.

More spots are available for the April Sock Club! Have a happy March Break - is it Spring break in the US too?

It's the simple things that mean so much - boxes that fit sockblockers. I know what you mean about the mother, I saw that and was shocked. Bill said it's because she didn't get her way and having her body taken to Texas. After they were finished and the flowers were on the grave, the mother walked right across it, that was the most disrespectful thing I have ever seen from a mother - one very disfunctional family.
Spring break in the states is anytime between March and May down here, its staggered because of college spring break, Easter, and school breaks. To be honest most school districts are getting away from the long spring break and tieing it into Easter - Wednesday to Easter Monday, parents want their kids out of school earlier at the end of the year, many are finished by the end of May or first week in June.
By the way, are you switching to daylight savings time the weekend they way they are down here, or will I be an hour off for the next three weeks? I would ask my mother but she gets very confused on such matters.

I know what you mean about the sockblockers. I don't imagine my feet look that big, and my socks certainly don't but somehow the sockblockers I have seem inordinately large and ungainly. But, man, do they make the socks look great!
I was so happy to see the sock club openings. Of course I signed up and can't wait for the first kit. Thanks, Connie!

I'm glad more spots opened up - I was getting a lot of enquiries after my last progress photos. One of my blog acquaintances just posted at our Elann group that it's all my fault :)! Not so hard to have to wear that hat. Looking forward to the March kit!
